A Compilation of Endorsements of Our Truly American Candidate, Donald J. Trump
Former Pres. George H. W. Bush says he's voting for Hillary Clinton
Bush, 92, had intended to stay silent on the White House race between Clinton and Donald Trump, a sign in and of itself of his distaste for the GOP nominee. But his preference for the wife of his own successor, President Bill Clinton, nonetheless became known to a wider audience thanks to Kathleen Hartington Kennedy Townsend, the former Maryland lieutenant governor and daughter of the late Robert F. Kennedy. NY Daily News
Robert Gates Says Trump's 'Beyond Repair'
September 17, 201 6 ~ Former Defense Secretary said Trump has no clue about the difference between negotiating a business deal and negotiating with sovereign nations.” Gates, who has served both Republican and Democratic presidents, sharply criticized Republican nominee Donald Trump’s ability to lead the United States. “At least on national security, I believe Mr. Trump is beyond repair. He is stubbornly uninformed about the world and how to lead our country and government, and temperamentally unsuited to lead our men and women in uniform. He is unqualified and unfit to be commander-in-chief."
“This man (Trump) does things and says things that I teach my six- and three-year-olds not to say. I could never look them in the eye and tell them that I support someone so crass and insulting and offensive to lead the greatest nation in the world.”
~ Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R-Florida), Wall Street Journal
Buckley warned of a particular type of demagogy practiced by candidates like Trump, with the financial means, “personal or contrived,” to fund their own campaigns.
"Look for the obvious narcissist, like Donald Trump. When he looks at a glass, he is mesmerized by its reflection."
~ William F. Buckley in Cigar Aficionado

The Father Of Modern Conservatism
(Associated Press 2005)
"Trump supporters, people who support Donald Trump, are people who should be respected for how they feel. But I worry they don't understand they are being scammed, and they're being scammed by somebody who's really good at it, so it's not like, you know, it's their fault. But I will say it's a scam, what Trump is selling."
~ August 4, 2016, Mika Brzezinski, Morning Joe
Republicans Who Did Endorse Trump But Changed Their Position
Those who traditionally support whoever Republicans put forth as a nominee are being forced to join the other side. Here, another lifelong Republican, Carlos Gutierrez, former Commerce Secretary under George W. Bush, tells Jake Tapper of CNN why he is voting for Hillary Clinton. Two things pushed Gutierrez onto the Blue side of the ledger: Trump's attacks on a sitting U.S. judge, and that time when he pointed to someone in his audience and called him "My African-American." Gutierrez says he has two resumes in front of him, and wants to chose what's best for the country, regardless of party.

Trump "doesn't appear to be a Republican, he doesn't appear to want to learn about issues," adding, "I'm voting for Clinton."
~ Richard Armitage, the retired Navy officer who served as Deputy Sec. of State under G.W. Bush and as Assistant Sec. of Defense under Reagan.
“In American history, we’ve never had a major presidential candidate who fabricated facts with the regularity of Donald Trump. He just simply makes up things.”
~ Douglas Brinkley, History Professor Rice University
GOP Endorsements
A number of prominent Republican party donors, and establishment voices, are joining a growing chorus of those on the right who are voting across the aisle, abstaining from voting, or leaving the party rather than vote for GOP nominee Donald Trump. These are the traitors to Trump's cause. Lock Em Up!!

Inspiring Artists
Heck, DJ Trump even inspires art to flourish. YG & fellow L.A. rapper Nipsey Hussle became two of the first artists to channel their fury over Donald Trump's bigotry, releasing this no-holds-barred protest song. Its the second single from Still Brazy, the sophomore follow-up to YG's formative 2014 debut. Going to war with the GOP presidential nominee at the height of the election season came at a cost: When YG and Hussle attempted to stage a peaceful rally for the song's video shoot, the LAPD shut them down (see video).

And those artists inspire other artists
Here's the Macklemore remix of the song by YG and Nipsey Hussle.
"With the passage of time, I have become increasingly dismayed by Trump's constant stream of cruel comments and his inability to admit error or apologize. But it was his attacks directed at people who could not respond on an equal footing — either because they do not share his power or stature or because professional responsibility precluded them from engaging at such a level — that revealed Mr. Trump as unworthy of being our president."
~ August 8, 2016, Republican Senator Susan Collins of Maine Washington Post
"From a foreign policy perspective, Donald Trump is not qualified to be President and Commander-in-Chief. Indeed, we are convinced that he would be a dangerous President and would put at risk our country's national security and well-being. Most fundamentally, Mr. Trump lacks the character, values and experience to be President. He appears to lack basic knowledge about and belief in the U.S. Constitution, U.S. laws, and U.S. institutions including religious tolerance, freedom of the press, and the independent judiciary."

"Millions of people across the country are feeling despondent. Their hours have been cut, wages slashed, jobs even shipped overseas. But Donald Trump doesn’t have a plan to fix that. He has a plan to exploit that. And so, although in every presidential election since 1888, the members and Executive Board of the Harvard Republican Club have gathered to discuss, debate, and eventually endorse the standard-bearer of our party, for the first time in 128 years, we, the oldest College Republicans chapter in the nation, will not be endorsing the Republican nominee.
Donald Trump holds views that are antithetical to our values not only as Republicans, but as Americans. The rhetoric he espouses –from racist slander to misogynistic taunts– is not consistent with our conservative principles, and his repeated mocking of the disabled and belittling of the sacrifices made by prisoners of war, Gold Star families, and Purple Heart recipients is not only bad politics, but absurdly cruel."

Prominent Republicans weighing in on Trump and Trumpism.
"I served in the Armed Forces for 32 years. At retirement, I was a four-star joint-theater commander. In my considered judgment, Trump is unqualified to be the president of the United States and fulfill the role of commander in chief of the 2.2 million men and women of the Armed Forces."
~ Retired General Barry McCaffrey, Alan.com
"Hillary Clinton (on the other hand) brings deep expertise in international affairs, and a sophisticated understanding of the world, qualities as essential for the Commander-in-Chief. Her longstanding relationships with a wide array of world leaders, and their sense of her as a strong and reliable counterpart, make her uniquely prepared for the highest office in the land."
~ George H. W. Bush's Nat'l Security Adviser Brent Scowcroft

Prominent Republicans weighing in on Trump and Trumpism.
"Mr. Trump’s own statements lead us to conclude that as president, he would use the authority of his office to act in ways that make America less safe, and which would diminish our standing in the world. Furthermore, his expansive view of how presidential power should be wielded against his detractors poses a distinct threat to civil liberty in the United States. Therefore, as committed and loyal Republicans, we are unable to support a Party ticket with Mr. Trump at its head. We commit ourselves to working energetically to prevent the election of someone so utterly unfitted to the office."

“Trump does not embody the values that have made me a lifelong Republican. He is unprepared and temperamentally unfit to be our President. Most of my Republican friends feel the same way. As a businessman, a father, and a conservative it is clear to me that Hillary Clinton is the right choice in this election.”
~ Former MGM CEO Harry Sloan
A staple of GOP fundraising, Sloan served on national finance committees for McCain & Romney.
Macy's Dumps Trump. "Macy's is a company that stands for diversity and inclusion," the company said in a statement, adding, "We welcome all customers, and respect for the dignity of all people is a cornerstone of our culture. We are disappointed and distressed by recent remarks about immigrants from Mexico." Macy's chain of stores ended its
11-year partnership with Trump, in response to uproar from Hispanic consumers who were upset with the businessman's disparaging remarks about Latinos."
